This strip, "Don't Forget to Wave," was inspired by a moment I had with my grandfather back in 2004 at Wolfchase Galleria in Memphis. We sat on a bench near one of the anchor stores and "people watched." We would make comments about the most interesting people we saw.
But the malls have declined to the point where you don't see many people in them any more. I have two videos listed below in the related videos section. One covers the rise of malls and their surprising connections to national security while the second one goes through the list of suspects who were responsible for their decline in America.
